📍Brussels, Belgium 📅 30 November 2026 🕟 13:15 – 19:00 (CET)
The EU has important goals to accelerate electrification, expand renewable energy and protect and restore biodiversity. At times, these objectives seem to be at odds with each other. But they do not have to be.
The Renewables Grid Initiative (RGI), the Global Initiative for Nature, Grids and Renewables (GINGR) and the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) are pleased to invite you to the POWER & NATURE conference, where policymakers, industry leaders, financiers, civil society and environmental experts will explore how the energy transition and nature restoration can advance together.
🔹How can we accelerate electrification, the deployment of renewable energy, offshore wind and electricity grids while strengthening nature and delivering benefits for people?
🔹Which solutions can enable offshore wind projects to deliver measurable and lasting improvements for nature?
🔹How can Nature-Positive approaches reduce investment risks and strengthen the business case for the energy transition?
Through discussions on policy, finance and practical implementation, participants will examine the strategies and tools needed to accelerate energy infrastructure deployment and scale up Nature- and People-Positive energy infrastructure across Europe.
Join us to explore how ambitious climate action and thriving ecosystems can reinforce one another – and how collaboration across sectors can turn this vision into reality.
